The Digital Media Studio of the University of Nevada, Reno is an interdisciplinary facility for the education and research of experimental applications of computers in the visual arts. The facility was founded in 1993 under the direction of Associate Professor Joseph DeLappe, whose works in digital imaging, interactive installation and public art have been featured in galleries, festivals and museums throughout the United States and abroad. We offer a range of courses addressing two-dimensional imaging, audio/sound art, video art, installation, performance and internet based artforms.
