The Event: Podium Results Show

“The Event: Podium Results Show” will feature the work of the participating artists from Peter Whittenberger’s participatory public art piece “The Event”. “The Event” consisted of a 100 meter dash race with members of both the University of Nevada, Reno and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Masters of Fine Arts programs competing, as well as a race by members of the University of Nevada, Reno’s BFA program. The artists exhibiting include Kim Musser, Nate Clark, Ayako Ono, Peter Whittenberger, Brian Porray, Kelci McIntosh, Megan Matthers, Rebekah Just, Bryan Christiansen, Dominique Palladino, Ashley Westwood, Jennifer Garza-Cuen, and Jeremy Stern.

“The Event: Podium Results Show” will be held at the Sheppard Gallery located in the Church Fine Arts Complex on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. The exhibition runs June 29 - July 10, 2009 with a reception to be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 5-7pm. The gallery will be open during the exhibition from 12pm-4pm.
