"Blind Internet Portraits: RGB, Bill, Marcel and Jesus", 40x22", oil on canvas, 1999

Oil paintings created with the "Artist's Mouse" using a technique similar to the blind contour drawing excercise often used in beginning drawing courses. The portraits of Bill Gates, Marcel Duchamp and Jesus Christ were downloaded and virtually traced using the on screen cursor - the corresponding mouse movements being translated into red, green and blue portraits, respectively.
