"Blind Internet Museum Paintings", oil on canvas, each piece 10x48" 2000-2001

First of a new series being created with the "Artist's Mouse". There will be a total of approxamately 25-35 pieces. Each of the individual 10x48" paintings are created by visiting the web site of a different internationally recognized art museum while utilizing the "Artist's Mouse" to make marks on prepared and stretched canvas sections. The background color of each individual piece is the same as the background of the web site, the colors used with the brush attached to the mouse, and the brush strokes created are, as follows defined according to each web site's interactive structure and color scheme. Each piece is marked at the lower portion of the painting with the museum's web address, ie: www.whitney.org and the artist's signature. The finished works will be displayed directly adjacent to each other to create one large piece, approxamately 4' high by 25' wide.
