Biography: My research interests center on arid environments and human adaptation to climatic and environmental change. Recent research has been aimed at exploring the relationship between ephemeral, Late Holocene water sources in the arid South Australian Desert and the location and character of occupation sites. My current research explores climatic induced changes in raw material source accessibility in the eastern Great Basin of North America and associated variability in raw material procurement.
