Biography: Jonah is a third-year Masters student studying the industrial archaeology of electricity generation and use in mining contexts. He got his BA in Anthropology and Archaeology from Boston University where his focus was on the archaeology of the Irish Diaspora. He has worked on numerous excavations as a field archaeologist and was a teaching assistant on the 2009 and 2010 UNR Virginia City Field Schools. He is a recipient of the 2010 Herbert E. Splatt Scholarship in Anthropology. Currently, Jonah works as a data assistant at the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office and as a teaching assistant for Anthropology 101.
