Biography: Deborah is a MA student studying Historical Archaeology. Currently residing in Washoe Valley, Nevada, she has previously lived in Southern California and Key West, Florida. Deborah is a photographer who is also interested in the history of photography and photographs as historical documents. She earned a BA in Art, with a minor in museum studies from UNR in 1999, and has held internships at the Nevada Museum of Art and the Nevada Historical Society. Deborah participated in the Sagebrush Vernacular Project, and has served as a research assistant to UNR Foundation Professor Peter Goin. In Key West, she held the position of conservation laboratory manager where she handled artifact registration, collection management, conservation, database management, and photography. Her thesis research focuses on ranching in the Great Basin.
