The University of Nevada, Reno uses the SAT or ACT for initial placement into chemistry, English, and math classes. Follow the tables below to determine the proper starting class based on ACT or SAT scores.

Chemistry

Registration is allowed in the below chemistry courses when students meet one of the test requirementsACT mathNew SAT math*OR if you have obtained
