In an effort to draw the University’s community of readers deeper into the news, events and issues of the campus, the Nevada News Web site has been reorganized and redesigned. The new version of Nevada News made its debut yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, May 7.
Nevada News, the online publication of the University, is maintained by Digital Initiatives in the Office of the President.
The redesign has several key features that should better serve anyone who visits the site in search of news, events or issues pertaining to the University of Nevada, Reno.

In addition to the new Nevada News page, the campus’ events calendar has also been redesigned. The new website, accessed from the Nevada home page, now includes a new “Featured Events” presentation at the top of the page. The “Featured Events” adds event photography and summaries of at least three important upcoming campus events. Digital Initiatives welcomes submissions for “Featured Events.”
